Environmental Operations Field Technician (Chicago, IL)

As an Environmental Field Technician, you will be responsible for collecting environmental samples at our clients’ on-site facilities.

Your duties will include:

  • Scheduling sampling events and coordinating with clients.
  • Transporting field equipment to client sites safely and efficiently.
  • Utilizing various sampling equipment to collect representative samples.
  • Following established test methods and procedures for accurate sample collection.
  • Maintaining compliance with all client-specific requirements, including:
    ✔On-site safety training
    ✔Security badges
    ✔Permits
  • Completing Teklab safety training as assigned by a supervisor or health and safety coordinator.
  • Occasional out-of-town travel to support sampling projects.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized company vehicle and promptly reporting any maintenance needs (routine or otherwise) to the department supervisor.

🏫Education

  • BS in Environmental Science, Geology or other related sciences preferred.
  • High School dipolma or GED
