NELAC Accreditation Standards
The U.S. EPA and most state's EPA recognize NELAP as the one national accreditation that is relevant to environmental testing laboratories. NELAP is the gold standard for environmental labs. NELAP accreditation demonstrates an environmental laboratory’s commitment to providing accurate, precise and reproducible results that will satisfy the legal scrutiny prevalent in today's society. As a part of Teklab’s corporate culture, NELAP is the core of our quality assurance and quality control program. Here is a list of our state accreditations and affiliations. We recommend that you use an accredited lab for all of your testing needs.
Rapid Turn-Around-Time on Results
The old adage "time is money" also applies to the environmental testing business. That is why our standard turnaround time is five working days. Most environmental labs are not designed for rapid TAT - we are.
Same day, next day, two day and three day results are our routine. If fast results are important, then Teklab is the laboratory for you. We have designed our lab to operate for the rapid TAT clients. Whether you have a large lengthy project or a small one time project, Teklab is designed to deliver next day, two day and three day results as a normal course of business. Here is a look at our history of turn-around-times.
Electronic Deliverables in Client Specified Format
In the laboratory testing business, the test result is our product. The wide variety of data analysis programs in existence makes it essential that an environmental laboratory be able to customize its electronic deliverables to suit the needs of the customer. Teklab project managers have the luxury of utilizing our highly knowledgeable IT department, as well as, our flexible LIMS formatting to deliver analytical results in virtually any electronic format that is necessary.
Personal Customer Service
When you partner with Teklab, you are assigned a project manager who personally handles your project, no matter how large or small. From setting up a project to ensuring results are delivered in the necessary format, our experienced project managers are here to help. Our staff has a thorough knowledge of the regulations and their applications, which is a necessity in the environmental lab business. We focus on building relationships with our clients to promote customer satisfaction. Our mission is to ensure your needs are satisfied and your expectations are exceeded. Visit our contact page for information on our sales staff and project managers.
Our laboratory analysis is performed in one central location. That means your sample will be analyzed in one location and not shipped to labs all over the US. The use of one centralized facility allows our company to better control the Quality Assurance and Quality Control proceedures used to ensure NELAP standards are maintained. Instead of having 20 different QA/QC programs and 20 different managements we have one.
When you use our laboratory testing services you will know who is responsible for ensuring your needs are exceeded.
Experienced and Well-Trained Analysts
Environmental Laboratories are all about analysis. The product that we provide is high quality testing results. To do this we maintain a staff of well-trained and experienced analysts. Proper analytical techniques and troubleshooting are critical when dealing with the wide variety of sample matrices that are found in an environmental laboratory. Our only business is environmental analysis and we have a training department focused solely on training that is applicable to providing high quality environmental laboratory test results.
A State of the Art LIMS
A Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is critical to a testing laboratory. It is the means by which your information is organized, stored and retrieved. At Teklab, we utilize the Omega II LIMS that was designed specifically for the environmental testing lab. Since it was designed for the envrionmental industry, the Omega II LIMS allows for storage of analytical results, provides for the tracking systems necessary to maintain NELAP standards for quality assurance, and maintains audit trails for defense against litigation.
